David Gao is a corporate associate based in the Hong Kong office and is a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group.Mr. Gao joined Debevoise in 2026 from a leading Australian law firm and completed his training contract at another leading international law firm. Mr. Gao received his PCLL from the City University of Hong Kong in 2022 and his J.D. (Hons) from the Melbourne Law School in 2020, where he served as president of the Melbourne China Law Society.Mr. Gao is admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong and Victoria. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
