- KKR in the formation of its $2.5 billion Asia private credit fundraise focused on committing capital to privately originated performing credit investments in Asia Pacific.
- Glendower Capital in the formation of its Secondary Opportunities Fund V, a $5.8 billion global secondary private equity fund.

Eike Björn Weidner is a corporate associate and a member of the Funds/Investment Management Group.Due to his professional experience as an advisor with the Investment Funds Policy Division of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), Mr. Weidner’s practice focuses on fund-related regulatory matters. He also advises sponsors on the structuring of investment funds as well as institutional investors on their fund investments. After studying law at the University of Kiel, Mr. Weidner spent his legal traineeship in Frankfurt, working inter alia for Debevoise, BaFin and the Hessian government. Before joining Debevoise in 2022, he worked as an advisor with BaFin and the German Federal Chancellery’s Financial Market Policy Division.Mr. Weidner is a member of the Frankfurt Bar. His native language is German and he is fluent in English.
