Fatema Al-Arayedh is an international counsel and a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group. Ms. Al-Arayedh’s practice focuses on advising private fund sponsors on a broad range of matters, including fund formation and operation, co-investments, upper tier structuring, GP staking and carried interest arrangements.

In addition, Ms. Al-Arayedh has experience in project development and joint venture arrangements, project financing, acquisition financing, fund financing, and other debt transactions.

Ms. Al-Arayedh joined Debevoise in 2020. From 2012 to 2019, Ms. Al-Arayedh was a corporate associate at a leading international law firm in New York.

Ms. Al-Arayedh received her B.A. with honors from Yale University in 2007 and her J.D. in 2012 from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar.

Ms. Al-Arayedh is admitted to the bar in New York. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
