Gregg Young is an English and New York-qualified international counsel in the firm’s European Finance Group. Recommended by The Legal 500 UK (2024), he advises corporations, private equity sponsors, funds and financial institutions on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisition financings, restructurings, refinancings, fund finance, asset finance and debt capital markets.

Mr. Young joined the firm in 2007. He graduated in 2004 with an LL.B. (Hons) from King’s College London and received an LL.M. in 2007 from Columbia Law School.

Mr. Young has written on legal matters related to finance topics. Most recently, he is the author of “Certain funds in strategic acquisitions,” International Financial Law Review (February, 2016).

Mr. Young is admitted to the Senior Courts of England & Wales and is a member of the Bar of New York.
