Jag Appleby is an Australian-qualified corporate associate based in the London office and a member of the firm’s Finance Group.

Mr. Appleby is active in the London office’s pro bono work, supporting Emmaus UK, a UK charity working to end homelessness, with legal advice and insight in respect of intra-group financing and funding arrangements.

Mr. Appleby joined Debevoise in 2025, having previously practiced as a solicitor in the Sydney office of a leading Australian law firm. He received a BActSt and LLB from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 2020.

Mr. Appleby was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2021.
