James Hebish is a corporate law clerk in the Insurance M&A Group. He maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on immigration matters.

Mr. Hebish joined Debevoise in 2025 after graduating from Columbia Law School, where he served as a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Property and as President of the Commercial Real Estate Law Society. He earned a B.S. magna cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2020, where he was also a recipient of the Director’s Scholar Award.

Mr. Hebish is fluent in Arabic.
