James Tai is a corporate staff attorney and a member of the Investment Management Group.Mr. Tai rejoined Debevoise in 2021. Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Tai was an associate practicing construction litigation and advised on construction-related contract negotiations in Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP.Mr. Tai received a J.D. from New York Law School in 2015 and a B.A. from New York University in 2009. During law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Ronald L. Ellis of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.Mr. Tai is a member of the Bar of the State of New York.
