Jane Tien is an associate in the Litigation Department. 

Ms. Tien joined Debevoise in 2022. She received a J.D. and an LL.M. in international and comparative law magna cum laude from Duke University School of Law in 2022. She was a submissions editor of the American Journal of International Law and a staff editor of the Duke Law Journal. She received her B.A. with High Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2018.

Ms. Tien is the author of Fighting Words: Catalonia at the Language Instruction Crossroads, 32 Duke J. Comp. & Int’l L. 409 (2022)—for which she won the Phanor J. Eder Prize, awarded by the American Society of Comparative Law—and From the Vatican With Cash: Prosecuting Money Laundering In London Real Estate, 30 U. Miami Int’l & Comp. L. Rev. 1 (2022).
