John Curry is a retired partner. Mr. Curry’s practice concentrated on complex domestic and international financings, notably aircraft financing transactions, including capital markets offerings of leveraged lease debt and enhanced equipment trust (EETC) certificates secured by aircraft, aircraft engines or spare parts. In addition, Mr. Curry worked on a number of large fleet restructurings, including the Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings of American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

Mr. Curry was ranked as a Band 1 aviation finance lawyer by Chambers USA. He also was a member of The Legal 500 US Hall of Fame.

Mr. Curry received his B.A. from Yale University in 1978 and his J.D. from Columbia University in 1981.
