Julu Beth Katticaran is a law clerk in the Litigation Department

Ms. Katticaran joined Debevoise in 2021. She received a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2021, where she was an editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation. She received an A.B.  summa cum laude from Princeton University in 2015, where she was awarded the Myron T. Herrick Prize for the best departmental thesis, the Van de Velde Award for outstanding independent work, and the Class of 1924 Prize for excellence in teaching and mentorship. Prior to law school, Ms. Katticaran was a James C. Gaither Junior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington D.C. She also worked at MIT’s Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where she advised governments across Latin America on designing and implementing evidence-based policy. She is fluent in Spanish, Hindi, and Malayalam.
