Lannette D. Hughes is a corporate associate in the Capital Markets Group.

Ms. Hughes joined Debevoise in 2022. Ms. Hughes received her J.D. from Howard University School of Law in 2022 where she was a Fall 2021 recipient of a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in International Business Transactions and a recipient of a Microsoft Technology Law and Policy Award. In Spring 2022, she was a Student Honors Program intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, at the headquarters in Washington, D.C. During the 2020-21 academic year she was an extern at the D.C. Department of Small and Local Business Development in Washington, D.C., and in the Summer of 2020, she was a judicial intern at the United States District Court, for the Eastern District of New York. 

Ms. Hughes received an M.A. in 2015 as a recipient of the Heather Watts Scholarship from Hunter College, City University of New York and a B.A. in 2006, from Hunter College, City University of New York. Ms. Hughes is fluent in Spanish and English.
