Laurah Samuels is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Commercial Litigation and White Collar & Criminal Defense Groups. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation and internal investigations, with a focus on representing corporations and their directors and officers in federal securities class actions and derivative lawsuits. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Ms. Samuels joined Debevoise in 2016. From 2015 – 2016, she clerked for the Hon. Roslynn R. Mauskopf of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Ms. Samuels received her J.D. from Columbia University in 2013, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and executive editor of the Columbia Journal of Gender & Law. Ms. Samuels received her B.A. from Pomona College in 2007. Ms. Samuels is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
