Lawson Miralha is a corporate international lawyer and a member of the Investment Management Group.
Mr. Miralha joined Debevoise in 2024. From 2014 to 2023, he was a corporate associate at Pinheiro Neto Advogados in Brazil and a member of the Investment Funds and Structured Finance practice of that firm. Mr. Miralha received a LL.B. from the Law School of the Fluminense Federal University in Brazil in 2017 and is a LL.M. graduate in Corporation Law of the Class 2024 of the New York University School of Law, with an Advanced Certificate in Law and Business from NYU Stern School of Business, for which he was selected as a 2023 John L. Vogelstein Scholar. Mr. Miralha also received a lato sensu MBA degree in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets from the Business School of the Fluminense Federal University in 2023.
Mr. Miralha is the co-author of the Brazil chapter in the "Venture Capital Law Review, Second to Fourth Editions," published in 2022, 2023 and 2024 by Law Business Research Ltd.; "Securitisation Law Review, First to Fourth Editions," published in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 by Law Business Research Ltd.; and "Hedge Funds: A practical Global Handbook to the Law and Regulation, Second Edition," published in 2019 by Global Law and Business Ltd.
Mr. Miralha is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Brazil. He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
