Louis Norton is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Mr. Norton joined Debevoise in 2025. He received an LL.M. from Stanford Law School in 2025, and an LL.B. from the University of Auckland in 2020. At those institutions, Mr. Norton was an associate editor of the Stanford Journal of Law, Economics & Business and an editor-in-chief of the Auckland University Law Review.

Previously, Mr. Norton worked at two leading New Zealand law firms and as a judicial clerk at the High Court of New Zealand. He has published a number of articles and case notes on contract law, insurance law and evidence law.

Mr. Norton was admitted to practice in New Zealand in 2020.
