Madelaine J. Horn is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Horn joined Debevoise in 2021. From 2020 – 2021, she clerked for the Hon. Stephen H. Glickman at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Ms. Horn received a J.D. from Cornell Law School magna cum laude in 2020, where she was a publishing editor for the Cornell Law Review. Ms. Horn also received a Master 1 and Master 2 in International and Commercial Arbitration from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2020. Ms. Horn received her B.A. Phi Beta Kappa  from Carleton College in 2016.

Ms. Horn is the author of “Oil, Gas, and Rhesus Monkeys: A New Framework for Natural Resources Under the Commercial Activity Exception,” 51 Cornell International Law Journal 4 (2019). She is fluent in French.
