Madeline Silva is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Silva joined Debevoise in 2020. From 2021 to 2022 she clerked for the Hon. Michael P. Shea of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. Ms. Silva received a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2020, where she was a recipient of the C. LaRue Munson Prize for excellence in clinical work. She received a B.A. magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 2017. Ms. Silva is a co-author of “Punishment in Prison: Constituting the ‘Normal’ and the ‘Atypical’ in Solitary and Other Forms of Confinement,“ Northwestern Law Review (August, 2020).

Ms. Silva is a member of the Bar of the State of New York.
