Mafe Coelho is a corporate associate and a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group and Latin America Group.

Ms. Coelho joined Debevoise in 2022. Ms. Coelho received her LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 2022, where she was the communications and public relations officer for the Brazilian Legal Society (BLS) and a Clinician in the International Transactions Clinic. She received her J.D. from Universidade Federal Fluminense. 

Prior to joining Debevoise, she was an associate at Fraga Bekierman & Cristiano Advogados, where she advised companies in structuring cross border transactions involving infrastructure, tax and international trade issues.

Ms. Coelho is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Brazilian Bar Association. She is fluent in Portuguese and English and proficient in Spanish.
