Marilena Chrysanthakopoulou is a litigation associate and a member of the International Dispute Resolution Group.

Ms. Chrysanthakopoulou’s practice focuses on international arbitration and public international law. She has represented private clients and States in investor-Sate and international commercial arbitrations governed by various civil and common laws, and under the auspices of ICSID, ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL. She has experience in the construction, energy, oil and gas and gaming industries.  

Ms. Chrysanthakopoulou joined Debevoise in 2023, having previously worked at leading international and boutique law firms in London, Geneva and Athens. Ms. Chrysanthakopoulou holds an LL.B. from the University of Athens, a BSc in International Business from the American College of Greece and an LL.M. from Georgetown Law. 

Ms. Chrysanthakopoulou is a member of the Bar in Greece and the State of New York, and was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2025. She is a native Greek speaker.
