Michelle Huang is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the firm’s Data Strategy and Security Group. Her practice focuses on cybersecurity, data privacy, and data and AI governance. She advises clients on incident preparation and response, regulatory compliance, regulatory investigations, risk management, and international dispute resolution.
Ms. Huang serves as Counsel to the New York Chief Judge’s Advisory Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution. At Debevoise, she serves as a member of the Diversity Committee as a representative of the Asian Affinity Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Huang served as a Henry Luce Foundation Scholar at the Arbitration Council Foundation in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and a Yenching Scholar at Peking University.
Ms. Huang joined Debevoise in 2020. Ms. Huang received a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2020, where she was an editor for the Yale Journal of International Law. She received a B.S. from Cornell University in 2014.
