Michelle Shen is a law clerk in the Litigation Department. Ms. Shen started at Debevoise in 2024.She received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2024, where she was a staff member in the student journal, The University of Chicago Legal Forum and was involved in the Global Human Rights Clinic. She also completed internships at the Center for Democracy and Technology and The Legal Aid Society in New York City. Ms. Shen received pro bono honors for completing over 250 hours.Ms. Shen received a B.A. from Barnard College of Columbia University cum laude in 2019, and a Master of Science in sociology with distinction from the University of Oxford in 2021. Ms. Shen is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
