Migueyli Aisha Duran is a law clerk in the Litigation Department. 

Ms. Duran joined Debevoise in 2025. Ms. Duran received her J.D. cum laude from Howard University School of Law in 2025, where she was the executive notes & comments editor for Volume 68 of the Howard Law Journal and a student attorney for the Howard University School of Law Civil Rights Clinic. She received a B.A. from Columbia University in 2018.

Ms. Duran is the author of “Of the Least of These: The Case Against Juvenile Confinement in America,” 68 Howard Law Journal 375 (2025). Moreover, Ms. Duran received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Comparative Constitutional Law. Ms. Duran is fluent in Spanish.
