Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partner Nicole Levin Mesard has been elected to the 2016 Class of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (“ACREL”). Admission is by invitation only after a rigorous screening process and considerable peer review.
Ms. Mesard is a corporate partner, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group and Chair of the firm’s Hiring Committee. She is experienced in all aspects of real estate law, including acquisitions and sales of retail and commercial properties, sophisticated financings, joint ventures and restructurings of commercial real estate loans, including in bankruptcy.
Founded in 1978, ACREL currently comprises nearly 960 fellows across the country who are recognized for their legal skills and professional leadership in the commercial real estate field. Fellows must actively practice real estate law and observe high standards of professional and ethical conduct, in addition to having contributed substantially to the improvement of real estate law. Lawyers must also have a minimum of 10 years of experience to be considered for membership in the premier legal association. ACREL's distinguished, nationally-known lawyers have been elected to fellowship for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.
