Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Schneider Electric S.E., the global specialist in energy management and automation, in the sale of its Telvent DTN division to TBG AG, a private holding company headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. The transaction, which is based on an enterprise value of approximately $900 million, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2017.
Telvent DTN is a leader in providing information services, supply chain connectivity tools and decision support solutions to the agricultural, energy and environmental industries. The unit was acquired by Schneider Electric through the approximately €1.4 billion acquisition of Telvent S.A. in 2011, a transaction on which Debevoise also represented Schneider Electric.
