Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising the Paraline Group, Ltd. and International Catastrophe Insurance Managers, LLC (ICAT) on the sale of ICAT to The Schinnerer Group, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. and a leading underwriting manager. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2017.

Paraline Group, Ltd. is building a Lloyd's-based international insurance and reinsurance business. ICAT is a managing general agent providing property catastrophe insurance to businesses and homeowners across the United States.
