Debevoise & Plimpton Partner Ted Hassi has been named Antitrust Litigator of the Year by LMG Life Sciences.

LMG’s annual awards recognize the year’s top firms and legal professionals, highlighting the most innovative and challenging work in the life sciences field. The awards are based on research compiled for the 2018 edition of LMG Life Sciences, the definitive guide to North American law firms and lawyers specializing in the life sciences industry.

Mr. Hassi is a litigation partner and member of the firm’s Antitrust Group. His practice focuses on antitrust litigation and obtaining merger clearances in transactions reviewed by the U.S. antitrust agencies. He is a former FTC Chief Trial Counsel who from 2011 to 2014 led the agency’s work on matters that were or were likely to be tried, including high-profile challenges to several mergers and cases involving other anticompetitive practices.
