The Le Ciel Foundation, a pro bono client of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, has launched a film profiling twelve spiritual elders as they gather at the United Nations in New York.
“The Twelve” is a feature length documentary giving a voice to wisdom traditions through the words of these twelve elders. These words of wisdom are shared by indigenous traditions from all over the world, most of which have never been in contact with one another. This film helps to highlight how wisdom traditions can be a source of inspiration and solutions for modern society.
More details on ‘The Twelve’ can be found here.
The film has been produced by the Le Ciel Foundation, a UK-based charity dedicated to restoring harmony and ecology on a global scale through cultural, spiritual and environmental projects.
Debevoise advised Le Ciel in the structuring and establishment of the charity.
The Debevoise team included international counsel Vera Losonci, associate Hilary Davidson, and trainee Martha Hirst.
