Debevoise Partners Named to Cybersecurity Docket’s Incident Response 40 List for Fourth Consecutive Year

26 April 2021

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partners Luke Dembosky and Jim Pastore have again been named to Cybersecurity Docket’s Incident Response 40 List. The list “celebrates the ‘best of the best’ — the 40 lawyers in this field who are setting the standard and are the ‘first call’ for companies hit with a cyber attack or other data security incident.”

This is Mr. Dembosky’s and Mr. Pastore’s fourth consecutive year appearing on the list, which is developed through nominations, input from senior lawyers and other professionals in the field, and Cybersecurity Docket’s own research.

Mr. Dembosky is a cybersecurity and litigation partner based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He is co-chair of the firm’s data strategy & security practice and a member of the White Collar & Regulatory Defense Group. His practice focuses on cybersecurity incident preparation and response, internal investigations, civil litigation and regulatory defense, as well as national security issues.

Mr. Pastore is a litigation partner and a member of the firm’s data strategy & security practice and Intellectual Property Litigation Group. His practice focuses on privacy and cybersecurity issues. In addition to appearing in the four previous lists, Mr. Pastore also has the distinction of having been named to Cybersecurity Docket’s “Incident Response 30” list every year since its inception in 2016.

The Debevoise Data Strategy & Security Group regularly guides clients worldwide in preparing for, responding to and investigating the full range of cyber incident response matters, including criminal and national security network intrusions, vendor and insider incidents, technology BCP events and related data privacy matters.
