Debevoise Partners Again Named to Cybersecurity Docket's 2024 "Incident Response 50" List

24 April 2024

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partners Luke Dembosky, Erez Liebermann and Jim Pastore have again been named to Cybersecurity Docket’s “Incident Response 50 List” for 2024. The list recognizes the “50 best data breach response lawyers in the business” and is described by Cybersecurity Docket as the top incident response attorneys and compliance professionals who not only have the right credentials and experience to manage a data breach response, but are also the kind of professionals critical to have on speed-dial when the inevitable data breach occurs.

The list is developed through nominations, input from senior lawyers and other professionals in the field and Cybersecurity Docket’s own research. Dembosky, Liebermann and Pastore, members of Debevoise’s Data Strategy & Security (DSS) Group, specialize in preparing clients for, and leading responses to, complex cybersecurity incidents and are part of a deep bench that the firm has developed to serve clients across sectors. Each brings many years of expertise leading cybercrimes and national security cyber prosecutions with the U.S. Department of Justice. The DSS Group integrates response work seamlessly with other practice areas, including litigation of cyber, privacy and A.I. incidents, a practice that Pastore leads for the firm.

The firm’s Data Strategy & Security Group helps clients anticipate and respond to cybersecurity, privacy, artificial intelligence, business continuity, national security, M&A diligence and data governance matters. With strong expertise in federal and state investigations, the cyberthreat landscape and emerging AI technologies and regulations, the Group also advises clients with their overall data strategy, including how to manage, protect, and optimize their data. Comprised of seasoned lawyers and former U.S. law enforcement officials, the Group also offers a groundbreaking suite of tools, recognized by the Financial Times, that help clients address business critical data security and artificial intelligence regulatory issues.
