Debevoise & Plimpton LLP announced today that Shawn D’Aguiar will be joining its London office as a partner in the Funds/Investment Management Group, further building the firm’s market leading funds capabilities in the UK and internationally.
Mr. D’Aguiar’s practice focuses on fund structuring and formation. He has substantial experience advising clients in the private equity, private debt, infrastructure and venture capital sectors on a range of fund strategies, including impact and sustainable investing, emerging markets, incentive/carried interest schemes, and co-investment arrangements.

Prior to joining Debevoise, Mr. D’Aguiar was a partner in the investment funds practice of another international law firm in London. He is admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales, and was also admitted to the Bar in India.
