Debevoise & Plimpton LLP announces that Allison Rekkali has joined the firm's New York office as counsel in its global tax practice.

Ms. Rekkali brings to the firm extensive tax law experience, including developing practical guidance for lawyers and clients and helping leading tax practices anticipate legal and market developments. In her new role, she will work closely with the firm's tax lawyers to expand thought leadership, enhance knowledge resources and support the continued integration of AI-enabled tools and other innovations that strengthen client service.

Prior to joining Debevoise, Ms. Rekkali held a tax knowledge management position at another international law firm and previously held a senior role at a leading legal information provider. Earlier in her career, she practiced as a tax lawyer advising clients in connection with investment funds and other complex transactions.

Ms. Rekkali received her J.D. in 2006 from Harvard Law School and her B.A. in 2002 from the University of California, Berkeley.
