Debevoise Lawyers Author PLI Chapter on Tender Offer Funds

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP partner Vadim Avdeychik and associates Sam Scarritt-Selman and Andrew M. Friedman of the firm’s Investment Management Group authored a chapter entitled, “Tender Offer Funds,” for the Practising Law Institute.

The chapter discusses the historical evolution of tender offer funds, their organization and registration, the tender offer process and the legal and regulatory framework governing their operations. The authors also examine key considerations relating to portfolio composition and management, including investments in other investment companies, affiliated transactions and co-investments, and discuss the growing use of tender offer funds to provide investors with access to private-market assets and alternative investment strategies.
