Pamela Boorman is a counsel based in New York and a member of the firm’s Tax Department, as well the Investment Management, Private Equity and Private Fund Transactions Groups. Her practice focuses on representing institutional and other investors with respect to tax and economic aspects of investing in private investment funds, including U.S. and international buyout, venture, infrastructure and hedge funds. She also advises clients in connection with secondary transactions, including “stapled” primary and secondary transactions and fund restructurings and recapitalizations. Her clients include HarbourVest Partners, The Ford Foundation, Zurich Alternative Asset Management, Sequoia Capital and The Nature Conservancy, as well as sovereign wealth funds and family offices.Ms. Boorman received a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. She received a B.S.F.S. in International Affairs from Georgetown University.Ms. Boorman is a member of the Bar of New York.
