Pierre-Pascal Bruneau is a retired partner whose practice focused on corporate taxation with a particular emphasis on corporate finance, private equity transactions and on investment funds. Mr. Bruneau was mainly involved in complex cross-border financial transactions. He played a key role in the structuring of all the transactions carried out by the mergers & acquisitions and capital market teams of Debevoise as well as the structuring of investment funds for the firm’s fund formation team. Mr. Bruneau was ranked as a Notable Practitioner in Chambers Global (2014) and Chambers Europe (2014) where he was described as “an excellent negotiator with longstanding experience not only in tax, but also in debt restructuring”. He was also noted as being a leading individual for Tax in Chambers Europe and Chambers Global (2013), and was quoted “as an expert in corporate finance and investment funds.” He was praised for his “impressive wealth of experience and commercially aware approach” by Chambers Europe (2011). Chambers Global (2012) named Mr. Bruneau as a “key contact”.
