Sameena Hussain is a London-based associate in the firm’s Funds/Investment Management Group. Her practice focuses on advising a broad range of asset management clients on complex UK and EU regulatory matters, with particular experience in AIFMD, MIFID and other regulatory frameworks applicable to fund managers and investment firms.
Ms. Hussain regularly counsels clients on the regulatory aspects of fund structuring, marketing and distribution strategies, authorisation and variation of permissions. She has experience engaging with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and other regulatory bodies, and advises on cross-border issues arising from regulatory divergence and reforms post-Brexit.
Ms. Hussain received her M.A. from the University of Cambridge and is admitted to practise in England & Wales.
