Samuel (Sam) Pittman is a law clerk in the firm’s Tax Department and a member of the Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Group.
Mr. Pittman joined Debevoise in 2025. Mr. Pittman received a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2025, where he was staff editor and production editor for the Columbia Law School Journal of Gender & Law, a coach for Columbia’s Asylum and Refugee Law Moot Court, and a 3L Senator on the Columbia Law School Student Senate.
Mr. Pittman received a B.A. summa cum laude from Georgia State University, where he was a Goizueta Foundation Scholar, and graduated from Georgia State University Honors College with Advanced Honors.
