Samuel Thomson is an associate in the London Office and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department.

Mr. Thomson’s practice focusses on high-value, complex multijurisdictional litigation and he has experience in proceedings before the English High Court.

Mr. Thomson also has experience conducting internal investigations for large multinational companies, including anti-corruption, fraud, and economic sanctions matters. He also advises clients on a wide range of data strategy and security matters, including cybersecurity, data protection, and operational resilience.

Mr. Thomson joined Debevoise as a trainee solicitor in 2023 and completed his training in the London office. Mr. Thomson graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First Class B.A. (Hons) in Law in 2022. He then obtained an LL.M. (with distinction) from the University of Law.

Mr. Thomson was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2025.
