Sara Weiss is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. Weiss joined Debevoise in 2025. From 2024 to 2025 she clerked for the Hon. Gerard E. Lynch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. From 2023 to 2024 she clerk for the Hon. Jed S. Rakoff of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. From 2021 to 2023, she was an associate at a leading international law firm, where she worked on complex commercial litigation and appellate matters.

Ms. Weiss received a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2021. She was awarded the John Ordronaux Prize for achieving the highest academic average in her class, the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Prize for receiving James Kent honors in all three years of law school and the Wilfred Feinberg Prize for the best work in an area related to the federal courts. She received her B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Tufts University in 2016.

Ms. Weiss is a member of the Bar of New York.
