Stanislav Shishkin is a corporate counsel and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity and Private Fund Transactions Groups.

Mr. Shishkin’s practice focuses on advising financial sponsors and their portfolio companies on a range of complex M&A, restructurings, capital raisings, management incentive plans and general corporate matters across a variety of sectors. He also has extensive experience of representing fund managers and investors on fund-related transactions, including co-investments, investment syndications, GP-led fund restructurings and GP stake disposals. 

Mr. Shishkin joined Debevoise in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate and, subsequently, counsel in the London office of a US-headquartered international firm.  

Mr. Shishkin is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England & Wales. He is fluent in Russian.
