Tim Cummings is a corporate associate and a member of the Investment Management Group. His practice focuses a broad cross-section of the asset management industry on a full spectrum of complex regulatory matters.
Mr. Cummings joined Debevoise in 2026. Previously, he was an associate at a leading international law firm. From 2020 to 2021, he clerked for the Hon. William S. Stickman IV of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cummings received a J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law cum laude in 2020. While in law school, Mr. Cummings was the associate managing editor of the American University Law Review. Prior to law school, Mr. Cummings was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School and a middle school math and science teacher. He received an M.Ed. in elementary education from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2011 and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 2009.
Mr. Cummings is a member of the Bar of the District of Columbia and the State of Illinois.
