Tomohiro Numahata is a corporate international lawyer and a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group.Mr. Numahata joined Debevoise in 2025. Mr. Numahata received his LL.B. in 2015 from the University of Tokyo, completed a one-year legal apprenticeship at the Legal Training & Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan in 2016 and received his LL.M. in 2025 from the University of Virginia Law School. Mr. Numahata is the co-author of "Corpus Juris M&A - Completely Revised Edition" (first volume) (second volume) Shojihomu (2019) and "Handbook on Share Options" (Fourth Edition) Shojihomu (2018).Mr. Numahata is a member of the Daini Tokyo Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in Japan as bengoshi. He is fluent in Japanese.
