Vedant Chauhan is a corporate law clerk and a member of the Investment Management Group. 

Mr. Chauhan joined Debevoise in 2025. Mr. Chauhan received a J.D. from Columbia Law School. At Columbia, he was an elected member of the Columbia Law Student Senate – serving as Graduation Co-Chair and a staff editor of the Columbia Journal of Asian Law. Mr. Chauhan graduated Columbia Law School as a Columbia Public Interest Honoree as well as a recipient of the Parker Certificate of Achievement in International and Comparative Law. He received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)(Hons) from King’s College London. Prior to law school, Mr. Chauhan served as an Infantry Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces.

Mr. Chauhan is the author of “Practical Benefits Exceptions: A Re-Consideration of Business Needs” Singapore Comparative Law Review (SCLR) (2022).

He is fluent in Hindi.
