Zachary Saltzman is a partner based in the New York office and a member of the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on Commercial/Civil Litigation, with an emphasis on asset management litigation and complex contractual disputes. Mr. Saltzman’s representations include hedge fund and private equity clients, as plaintiffs and defendants, in complex, high-stakes litigation. He is recommended for General Commercial Disputes by The Legal 500 US (2022).

Mr. Saltzman joined Debevoise in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, he clerked for the Hon. Chief Judge Carol B. Amon of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Saltzman received a J.D. magna cum laude from The University of Michigan Law School in 2012 where he was an articles editor on the Michigan Law Review, a Darrow Scholar, and a member of the Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. summa cum laude from New York University in 2008 where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Between college and law school, Mr. Saltzman served as a paralegal in the Appellate Section of the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division.

Mr. Saltzman is a member of the Bars of New York and New Jersey.
