Almas Daud is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department as well as the firm’s Finance Group.

Ms. Daud has been named a Rising Star by IFLR1000 (2022), and, in The Legal 500 UK (2023), she is described as “stand-out.” In previous editions of the guide, she receives praise for her “depth of knowledge and ability to simply get things done.” Clients also note her ability “to explain complex issues in a straight-forward manner and focus on the real issues, rather than the minutia.” She is noted by Chambers UK (2023) for her ability to act for sponsors and borrowers and for her strength on cross-border financings. Clients note that she is “technically strong, well organised” with “great communication skills.”

Ms. Daud joined Debevoise in 2015. Ms. Daud received a B.A. from the University of Cambridge in 2009. She completed the LPC with distinction at Kaplan Law School in 2011. She received an M.A. (Cantab) from the University of Cambridge in 2013.
