Andrew J. Gershon is a corporate partner based in the New York office and a member of the firm’s Investment Management Group and Private Fund Transactions Group. His practice primarily focuses on the representation of clients in connection with secondary transactions, including traditional acquisitions and dispositions of fund interests, leveraged and syndicated acquisitions, secondary direct transactions, fund recapitalizations and restructurings, tender offers and co-investment opportunities. In addition, he regularly represents clients in connection with their primary investments.

Mr. Gershon joined Debevoise in 2021. Prior to joining Debevoise, he worked as a corporate associate in the private funds group of an international law firm. He received his J.D. from New York University Law School in 2013, where he was an article editor of the Annual Survey of American Law. He received his B.A. magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University in 2008.
