Ashley Hahn is an associate in the Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, merger challenges, and other contractual and business disputes. She has significant experience representing a wide variety of clients, including in the cryptocurrency, media, financial, and asset management sectors.

Ms. Hahn also maintains an active pro bono practice, and was recognized in November 2020 by Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) for providing outstanding pro bono legal services. 

Ms. Hahn joined Debevoise in 2018. She received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law magna cum laude and Order of the Coif in 2018. She served as a Center for Social Justice Scholar and an articles editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. Ms. Hahn is the author of "Toward a Uniform Domestic Violence Civil Protection Order Law," 48 SETON HALL L. REV. 897 (2018). She received a B.A. magna cum laude from Bryn Mawr College in 2014 where she served as a Study of Terrorism and Response to Terrorism (START) undergraduate research fellow.

Prior to law school, Ms. Hahn explored different legal and social welfare systems during a year of independent, international travel as a 2014–2015 Thomas J. Watson fellow.

Ms. Hahn is a member of the Bars of New York and New Jersey, and is admitted to practice before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
