  • AIG Financial Products Corporation defending claims in Connecticut state court by former executives seeking payment of bonuses allegedly payable under the terms of a deferred compensation scheme.
  • The controlling shareholders and certain directors of Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. and MSG Networks, Inc. in multiple derivative suits in the Delaware Court of Chancery arising from a stock-for-stock merger between those two entities.
  • Warrior Holdings, an entity owned by funds managed by Carlyle, in litigation in Delaware Chancery Court brought by a stockholder representative, arising from its merger agreement with Saama Technologies, Inc.
  • Tether, Bitfinex and related entities in a putative class action asserting Commodities Exchange Act, antitrust and fraud claims based on alleged manipulation of the price of cryptocommodities.
  • YPF S.A. in successfully defeating claims for roughly $15 billion in damages and pre-judgment interest that were brought by Petersen Energía and Eton Park (both funded by Burford Capital) in the S.D.N.Y. arising from the Republic of Argentina’s intervention in YPF and subsequent expropriation of 51% of YPF’s capital stock.
  • Uniswap, its founder and venture capital firm Union Square Ventures in the successful dismissal of a securities class action related to tokens issued by third parties and sold on the Uniswap protocol.
  • James River in obtaining a Preliminary Injunction in which a court awarded specific performance and required the buyer to close on the acquisition of a James River subsidiary under the terms of the purchase agreement.

  • A family in appealing to the Second Circuit the Board of Immigration Appeal’s denial of their applications for asylum.
