Clarissa McNerney is a corporate associate and a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, and Private Fund Transactions Groups.
Ms. McNerney has worked with corporates and private equity sponsors across a range of corporate transactions including cross-border M&A, joint ventures and secondary and co-invest transactions.
Ms. McNerney joined Debevoise in 2018. Prior to joining the London office, Ms. McNerney was an associate in the corporate group of a leading international law firm, where she spent time working in London and New York.
She received her BA (cum laude) from Harvard University in 2008 and her graduate diploma in law and LL.B. (First Class Honours) and legal practice certificate (Distinction) from BPP Law School, London in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
Ms. McNerney was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2012. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and Mandarin.
