Duncan Pickard is an associate in the firm’s International Dispute Resolution and Public International Law Groups.

Duncan joined Debevoise in 2018. From 2017 to 2018, he served as a Dean Acheson Legal Stagiaire at the Court of Justice of the European Union and as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration. He received a J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2017, where he was a member of the Stanford Law Review. He received an M.P.P. from the Harvard Kennedy School in 2012 and a B.A. from Tufts University in 2010.

Duncan is Co-Chair of the International Organizations Interest Group of the American Society of International Law, a member of the World Commission on Environmental Law, and a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He serves on the boards of Democracy Reporting International and MVYouth.
