Fabienne El-Cid is an associate in the Litigation Department.

Ms. El-Cid joined Debevoise in 2023. She received her J.D. cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2023 where she was the solicitations editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. Additionally, she graduated with a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 2018. She is the author of Lebanon’s Government Muzzles Critics, Flaunts the ICCPR (Jan. 27, 2022).

Ms. El-Cid is a member of the Bar of New York and is admitted to appear before the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She serves as a committee member for the American Bar Association International Law Section’s Young Lawyers Interest Network. She is fluent in colloquial Arabic and proficient in Modern-Standard Arabic.
