On January 16, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced that Iran had completed the necessary preparatory steps to mark “Implementation Day” under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (“JCPOA”). As a consequence, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and EU High Representative Federica Mogherini confirmed that U.S. and EU sanctions relief under the JCPOA was now in effect.
The overall picture, however, remains complex, with important restrictions remaining in effect and with businesses still adjusting to the new regime. During seminars on March 1 in New York and March 3 in London, our team will explore:
